Lawn Care Foreman

This position is located in Bozeman, MT. This is NOT a remote position.
Job Summary
We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Lawn Care Lead Technician to join our landscaping company. You will be expected to lead your crew and also be a contact for client communication. Your duties will involve lawn maintenance, including mowing, aerating, and line trimming. You may also be asked to apply fertilizers or assist with pest control. You must know how to handle and maintain a variety of lawn care tools. And understand the practical application of those techniques in the field. We expect all our team members to always provide excellent customer service to our clients.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Required
· Mow and string trim lawns.
· Make recommendations for lawn maintenance.
· Previous experience in lawn maintenance and a working knowledge of horticultural practices desired.
Requirements and Qualifications: Preferred
High school diploma or GED certificate
Pesticide certification a plus
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Physical stamina, ability to lift 50 lb.s frequently
Flexible schedule
Bilingual: English/Spanish, a plus.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Safety first mindset, in organization and practice.
Position Duties and Functions:
· Abide by company policies, processes and procedures including standard operating procedures [SOP’s] safety protocols and Highridge cores values.
· Operate mower on average, medium-large areas with straight and neat lines and without causing damage.
· Trim lawn edges, around trees/objects safely.
· Load, unload, and secure equipment in the vehicle.
· Clean, fuel and re-string equipment per the requirements of each.
· Ability to follow instructions.
· Ability to communicate with clients in a comfortable and professional manner.
· Ability to flow and complete maintenance without constant instruction.
· Promote safety in every aspect of the job by upholding PPE policies.
Working Conditions:
Work is performed outdoors with constant exposure to the environment and weather, including, but not limited to, heat, cold, rain, wind, snow, grasses, dirt, bugs, plants, trees, shrubs, flowers, dust, and pollen. Work is performed on and around machinery, with attendant loud noise and odors. Work involves daily travel to and from job sites and operating a motor vehicle [with or without trailer] on public roadways.
Standard Equipment:
Must possess the ability to operate a variety of mechanical equipment, hand power tools, including, but not limited efficiently and safely to; String trimmers, bed edgers, rototillers, aerators, power rakes, gas-powered shears, plant augers, chainsaws, backpack blowers, and small medium, and large trucks with manual or automatic transmissions and truck and trailer combinations.

Salary: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
