Garden Services Team Lead

Why this role exists
You lead a small garden-services crew (typically 1 to 2 people) to deliver consistent, high-quality garden maintenance, communicate clearly with clients, and identify enhancement opportunities.
What you’ll do
Lead daily on-site planning, task delegation, and safety expectations for your crew
Deliver high-quality garden services (weeding, pruning, deadheading, planting, mulching, seasonal cleanups)
Perform property walkthroughs, spot issues early (plant health, pests, irrigation anomalies to report), and document findings
Communicate with clients consistently, including weekly touchpoints and quarterly site walks
Identify enhancement opportunities and coordinate internally to get pricing and execution lined up
Maintain tools and equipment, request supplies, and keep trucks and job sites clean and professional
Train and coach crew members on horticultural best practices and efficient workflows
Represent Highridge professionally, protect client property, and uphold quality standards on every visit
What we’re looking for
Must-haves
Proven experience in landscape maintenance or garden services (lead experience preferred)
Strong plant knowledge (ID, pruning practices, seasonal care)
Strong communication skills (crew, clients, managers)
Physically able to lift 50 lbs, bend/kneel, and work outdoors in all conditions
Must be 21+ with a valid U.S. driver’s license that meets insurance and company driving standards
Nice-to-haves
Horticulture degree or formal training
Bilingual English/Spanish
